Summer Reading – Adventure Begins at Your Library!

Monday, June 10th – Friday, July 19th

Weekly children’s programs include visits from the Oglebay Good Zoo, the SMART Center, Smokey the Bear, and the Challenger Learning Center.

Adult programs include ghost stories with the West Virginia State Penitentiary, Seed Starting Workshops with Belmont County Soil & Water, and presentations from the Grave Creek Mound Archeological Complex.

 Toddler Tales & Storytime

Monday, June 10th – Friday, July 19th

Toddler Tales, intended for children 6-24 months and their caregivers to develop the skills of listening and interactive play, is offered at the Martins Ferry Public Library on Thursdays at both 10am and 12pm, the Bethesda Public Library on Mondays at 11am, the Powhatan Point Public Library on Mondays at 2pm, the Shadyside Public Library on Mondays at 10am, and the Victoria Read Public Library in Flushing on Wednesdays at 4pm.

Storytime, aimed at children 2 years and older, introduces classroom style learning, and is offered at the Martins Ferry Public Library on Wednesdays at 11am, the Bethesda Public Library on Tuesdays at 11am, the Bridgeport Public Library on Tuesdays at 1pm, the Powhatan Point Public Library on Mondays at 11am and Thursdays at 4pm, the Shadyside Public Library on Fridays at 11am, and the Victoria Read Public Library in Flushing on Mondays at 11am.
