Join us for Winter Storytime and Babytime! As the chill of winter sets in, the Belmont County District Library’s Children’s department is warming up for the start of the Winter Storytime and Babytime Sessions. Parents and caretakers of children 2-5 years old are invited to attend our weekly Storytime, while ages 6-24 months are welcome to join us for Babytime sessions. These sessions are part of the Every Child Ready to Read @ your library initiative, which promotes the improvement of important literacy skills through activities like talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing. Each session will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour and will feature a story, singing, arts and crafts, and some simple activities designed to give children the opportunities they need to be ready to read.
