Children's Summer Library Program on TapIt’s that time of year again! The temperatures are starting to warm up, the school year is ending, and the Belmont County District Library is set to begin their 2016 Summer Library Program. This year’s theme is “On your mark, get set, READ!” and will take place during the months of June and July at all 6 of the Belmont County District Library locations. Keeping with this theme, each week will allow the children the opportunity to learn about the benefits of being physically and mentally fit. Each session will be filled with activities geared towards bringing books to life in fun and exciting ways, fostering a love of reading in the hearts of our youngest patrons.
Summer programs include a visit from Magician Mark Woods, Photographer Daniel Caron, Seszko International Taekwondo, and local dance instructor Anna Harsh just to name a few. The library will be capping off the summer with the end of the program celebration including an inflatable obstacle course by JK Tanks Rentals for our families to enjoy.
